Wave Point Foundation is a community-focused initiative in Jeffreys Bay, dedicated to empowering young people through surfing, sports, and mentorship. Their programs aim to keep youth active, build confidence, and provide opportunities for personal growth both in and out of the water.
Recently, Wave Point received much-needed sports gear, including soccer balls and tennis rackets, to keep their groms active, especially when the surf is flat. Through our generous network, we have been able to help provide these resources, ensuring the young surfers stay engaged, motivated, and physically active throughout the year.
The support also covered contest fees for the groms representing their province in the South African Surfing Championships. This gave them the opportunity to compete against other talented young surfers, develop their skills, and gain valuable experience on a bigger stage.
By providing both sports equipment and access to competitions, we are helping Wave Point create a positive and empowering environment where young people can thrive, grow in confidence, and stay active, no matter the conditions in the water.
