Hope House Brings Clean Water to Malawi

In May and June, Groundswell Aid ran a water filter campaign to provide clean and safe drinking water to communities in Indonesia, Samoa, and Coastal Africa. We’re grateful to share an update from the teams who distributed these life-saving filters on the ground.

This update comes from Andre and Yvette of Hope House Mauritius, who were in Malawi on an outreach mission. There, they partnered with the Good News Children’s Home to distribute water filters and train locals in their use.

They also traveled deep into the bush along the Shire River, meeting a small village community and two village chiefs. Many villagers committed their lives to the Lord and expressed deep gratitude for the clean water they received.

One chief shared how much this initiative would benefit the community, which often faces flooding or a scarcity of clean water and must rely on unsafe, stagnant sources.

Thank you to everyone who supported this campaign. Your generosity is bringing clean water, better health, and renewed hope. If you would like to support Hope House or the next Waterfilter Campaign reach out to sylven@groundswellaid.org.
