Growing up in South Africa and then falling in love with surfing reminded me of the contrast between the world of opportunity and the world of No chance!
Surfing is such a gift, why shouldn’t everyone have the opportunity to enjoy it?
What if something existed that worked at the intersection of these two worlds and leveraged the world of opportunity to give a foot up to those in the world of less opportunity?
Groundswell is a realised concept that connected the dots of my Christian Faith with my love for the sport of surfing and enabled the practical ability to share the love found in both of those with others.
