Supporting La Red After Tropical Storm Alberto
When Tropical Storm Alberto struck the coastal areas of El Salvador, it brought relentless rainfall that flooded homes and devastated entire communities. In response, Groundswell Aid partnered with La Red, a local organization led by Salvador Castellanos, to provide urgent relief to families in need.
Through our relief campaign, we raised $1,300 USD to support La Red’s efforts in the aftermath of the storm. These funds enabled the team to respond quickly and effectively, providing:
- Emergency food parcels to feed families for two weeks
- Mattresses for those who lost everything in the floods
- Roof repairs for homes damaged by the storm
This support made a tangible difference, helping affected families begin to rebuild their lives with renewed hope.
We are deeply grateful to everyone who contributed, shared, and prayed for this initiative. Together, we were able to stand with the people of El Tunco and bring relief when it was needed most.
