Host a Fundraiser

You're interested in hosting a fundraiser on behalf of Groundswell Aid but don't know where to start? We've got you covered!

Step 1

Decide if you want your fundraiser to benefit Groundswell Aid as a whole or one of our specific projects. Then contact us and let us know! We'll send you the bank account info for the pertinent project. This will also let us know you're getting involved so we can do everything we can to help you along the way!

Step 2

Choose what you will do to raise money. Your imagination is your limitation but here are some ideas:

• Show a surf movie and charge for entrance or snacks

• Give surf lessons

• Have a dinner and charge per plate. During the dinner, share about the project that you're raising money for. We can help with this by sending you info or videos you can show

• Have a tarp surfing party and take donations

Step 3

Pick a date and start promoting! Social media is a great tool.
